Maxentius, 306-312 AD

The Ostia mint produced this stunning Bronze Follis during the reign of Maxentius from 309-312 AD. On the obverse, a laureate head of Maxentius gazes to the right. On the reverse, the figure of Victory strides to the left, gracefully wielding a wreath in her right hand and a palm frond in her left. The coin is 22 mm in diameter and weighs 6.34 grams, making it a valuable addition to any collection.
