This 1943-S Mercury Dime, graded MS66FB by PCGS, is a superb Mint State example from the World War II era, struck at the San Francisco Mint. The "FB" (Full Bands) designation indicates that the horizontal bands on the fasces are fully separated — a mark of an exceptionally sharp strike and highly desirable among Mercury Dime enthusiasts.

The coin exhibits vibrant mint luster, crisp detail, and clean fields with minimal contact marks, all well within expectations for the MS66 grade. Liberty’s winged cap and the fasces are fully detailed, and the coin’s surfaces shine with a satiny finish that adds to its visual appeal.

While the 1943-S is a relatively common date in the series, finding it with both Full Bands and in this high grade is considerably tougher — making this piece a great choice for registry set builders or high-grade type collectors.
