Constantine I, 307-337 AD

This bronze follis, minted in approximately 317 AD at the Treveri Mint, features a laureate bust facing right, adorned by drapery and armor. On the reverse side, the depiction of Sol standing to the left, with outstretched right hand and a globe in the left, draped in a chlamys over the left shoulder. The mintmark T appears to the left, while the letters F and ATR are to the right. Measuring 20mm in diameter and weighing 3.51g, this coin exudes a sense of elegance and exclusivity.
